Today, on Friday (26), soybean prices are facing another session of decline on the Chicago Board of Trade. Around 7:40 am (Brasília time), prices were down by 3.25 to 4 points, with May futures quoted at $11.58 and August at $11.78 per bushel. The market is feeling the absence of fresh news and continues to work without room for a consistent recovery.

Consequently, soybean futures once again mirrored losses in soybean meal - which declined by over 0.6% this morning - as well as in corn and wheat. Today, only soybean oil is showing some upward movement, albeit quite restrained.

Traders remain vigilant regarding the weather in the United States and the development of the 2024/25 crop; the performance of American exports - still quite weak there - and the competitiveness of Brazilian soybeans, which are maintained and attracting more demand here, thereby keeping Chicago under pressure.

Attention is also focused on the behavior of the dollar and on news emanating from the financial and geopolitical arenas.
