The Paraíba International Business Center has recently introduced a foreign trade data panel named ODEX, established through collaboration with a UFPB extension project. This platform offers consolidated insights into foreign trade in a functional and interactive manner, serving as a valuable resource for understanding the state's international business landscape.
ODEX leverages business intelligence technologies to provide diverse applications, including the generation of commercial reports, statistical analyses, and academic research. By simplifying access to information about imports and exports from Paraíba, the platform aims to enhance transparency and accessibility.
Raquel Leite, the manager of CIN/PB, emphasized ODEX's role in consolidating foreign trade data, offering a comprehensive overview of the commercial panorama. The platform is expected to address the needs of industry users while also serving as a valuable resource for academic researchers.
Aligned with government initiatives to streamline import and export processes, ODEX was developed in partnership with the Data Observatory team at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). The project coordinator, Gustavo Oliveira, highlighted the platform's modern data visualization principles and user-friendly interface, which facilitates strategic decision-making for businesses and organizations.
ODEX not only benefits the business community but also caters to the academic sphere by providing processed data through graphs and information, easing access for students and researchers conducting studies in the field of foreign trade.
The extension project team behind ODEX aims to contribute to regional development by providing valuable insights and resources to support informed decision-making in the realm of international business.
